At the central point of the island of Sveti Klement, in Vlaka, at the most beautiful spot lives the family Matijevic. Years ago, Perina und Frane Matijevic founded the little Pension and their son Tonci is now continuing the family tradition together with his German wife Lisa. Their daughter Perina, a learned hotel manageress and a bachelor in business economy, works now also in the family pension, together with her husband Ivica in 3rd generation! Altogether they speak Croatian, English, German and Italian.
If you like, you can start and end the day together with Tonci. Early birds can go fishing with him before sunrise and pull in the fishernets - in the evening you can assist laying out the nets for the next morning's catch. Like that you can choose already before breakfast what delicious and superfresh adria-fish you would like to eat for lunch!
Fruit and Veggies are organically cultivated by the family on the island and are harvested short time before consumption.
A large terrace covered by a roof of grapevines serves as breakfastroom, diningarea and lounge. There you have a nice overview of the Von dort aus blickt man in den gut bestellten Gemüsegarten und das blaue Meer.
Nowadays this little familiy pension is a place, where you can find yourself, where you can make holidays from usual holidays with noble hotels and luxury reasorts.
